The brief and what we did
A newly merged organisational development team planned the transition for people in two organisations. The meeting was part of a formal evaluation of participatory methods in central government.
Results
- 82% said ProMeet is better than the traditional way of meeting
- 89% preferred meeting objectives to a traditional agenda
- 93% said ProMeet would be useful in their department
The evaluation
This meeting was one of several at the Department for Work and Pensions and the Ministry of Justice in which participants formally evaluated the ProMeet participatory meeting method. 82% thought it better than the traditional way of meeting, 89% preferred meeting objectives to a traditional agenda, and 93% thought it would be useful in their department. Over three quarters thought it should be adopted more widely.

How we work
Every assignment starts with a conversation about what needs to happen because of the session. We agree the outcome, turn it into clear objectives, then design the process backwards from there, using the ProMeet method and whichever tools serve the outcome.
