A participant adding to a shared LEGO model

LEGO® Serious Play® in Singapore and AsiaLEGO® Serious Play® workshops, led from Singapore by a Master Trainer

Strategy, vision, team and culture workshops with LEGO® Serious Play®, designed and facilitated by Sean Blair, a LEGO® Serious Play® Master Trainer based in Singapore whose network has trained nearly 3,000 facilitators.

What we use it for

LEGO® Serious Play® gives every person in the room a voice, and helps groups understand complex situations together. We use it when it serves the outcome.

  • Leadership team strategyAmbition, direction and real-time strategy on a shared system model. See strategy workshops in Singapore.
  • Team vision and valuesWhat the team will become famous for, and the behaviours it needs.
  • Culture and behaviour changeMaking the invisible visible, so it can be discussed and changed.
  • Large groupsUp to 240 people in a single day in Tokyo, working in table groups.
  • Conference sessionsInteractive LEGO® Serious Play® sessions for congresses and summits.
  • Online, across time zonesRegional teams across Asia, using the methods in Sean's book ONLINE.

Recent work in the region

A full-day LEGO® Serious Play® workshop for around 240 staff of a Tokyo-based company. A senior management awayday, executive meeting and vice principals' workshop for the English Schools Foundation in Hong Kong, led by Liam Isaac. Fourteen workshops for 400 staff of The Insights Group across Singapore, Europe and the USA, before it set its strategy.

Why it works across cultures

Multinational rooms in Asia often mix languages, levels of seniority and attitudes to speaking up. In LEGO® Serious Play® everyone builds, so everyone contributes, and the model carries meaning that words alone might not. People talk about the model, not about each other, which makes difficult subjects easier to raise.

Learn to facilitate it in Singapore

Our sister practice SERIOUSWORK™ trains and certifies LEGO® Serious Play® facilitators in Singapore, London and online, including the Systems Synergy Facilitator Pathway. Sean has written three books on the method.
