The brief and what we did

Designed and led with a team of IAF facilitators the day before IMEX Frankfurt: plenaries, nine parallel workshops and LEGO® Serious Play® insight on the future of associations.

Results

  • The four biggest challenges associations face
  • Insights from nine breakout sessions
  • 1,000+ gridcards and 66 LEGO® models

A partnership with the IAF

For this Association Day, IMEX partnered with the International Association of Facilitators to give participants the best experience of the day yet. Sean led the partnership on behalf of the IAF, and designed and facilitated the event with four IAF facilitators.

How we work

Every assignment starts with a conversation about what needs to happen because of the session. We agree the outcome, turn it into clear objectives, then design the process backwards from there, using the ProMeet method and whichever tools serve the outcome. Read more about conference facilitation.

Ideas behind this work

IMEX Group: Association Day: next-generation associations
Sean has almost single-handedly taken us on a journey from wish list 'what if's' to help improve our programme to a reality of total delegate engagement and interaction.
